ABOUT

At 63, I find myself in a wonderfully creative chapter of life, with the time and freedom to follow wherever imagination leads.

As both a watercolour artist and a woodturner, I work with two very different materials—paint that flows across paper and timber shaped slowly by hand—each offering its own way to bring an idea to life.

My paintings grow from places I have wandered through and remembered, as well as from imagined landscapes that exist only in the quiet corners of my mind.

Each one tells its own story, yet a familiar thread runs through them all—a personal style shaped by colour, atmosphere and a sense of place.

My wood turned pieces begin with the grain, texture and character already held within the timber. Every original design is shaped to reveal that natural beauty, allowing the wood itself to remain part of the story.

From my home in Barnby Dun, South Yorkshire, I create each piece with patience, curiosity and the simple pleasure of making something by hand.

My paintings are available in 14 × 18-inch and 25 × 18-inch formats, with the size of each individual work clearly noted in the shop.

Each wood turned item is unique, and its full details and dimensions can be found alongside its shop description.

Each painting is sent with a sealed back and is pre-strung with picture wire, arriving ready to hang and enjoy.
